Ontario-Reno.ca aims to provide both contractors and clients with the tools to be successful. Among the many services, we will be supplying an organized system for searching for specific trades servicing specific areas within Ontario.

We are working to connect contractors and clients as our primary goal, but will be systematically releasing additional tools to support both sides as time goes on.

Our photo program serves both to decorate our site with relevant content while providing exposure and free advertising for local talent.

Contractors have the ability and are encouraged to maintain a profile on our platform. This includes profiles of completed jobs. From these profiles, contractors have the option to submit photos matching our publishing criteria. Photos displayed as background images are selected for display first from photos that are from contractors serving the area of the viewer. In the event the site viewer's location is not known, or content is not available for the site viewer's location, photos will be selected by random from the complete library.

Information about the current background and the contractor that submitted it is displayed on the black semi-transparent bar closer to the bottom of the page. Viewers may click the "Background Photo By:" to receive details about the photo and contractor.

We encourage our members to leave testimonials for contractors after a service. The publication of testimonials is up to the contractor. A contractor may chose whether or not to publish the testimonial, but may in no way alter the testimonial. Testimonials are displayed with the first name, initial of the last name, city of the person submitting the testimonial and date submitted.

Owners of businesses can activate business services from the settings screen from within their account. Once activated, a business may be registered from the business screen. Registering a business will require verifying the registered business phone number by calling the Ontario-Reno.ca support line from that phone number.

Those with businesses can invite other account holders to interact with services under the business account. This invite is done by e-mail address. Invited account holders may be restricted or revoked by those holding an administrative role under the business account. All business accounts require that a personal account must be registered first.
